Santoku knives are traditinal Japanese kitchen knives. They are prized for their sharpness, balance
and utility. These sets are composed of three knives; chef's, slicing, and paring with a coordinating storage
block. The storage block is made of the same wood as the knife handles interspersed with a contrasting wood.
The example shown is made of wenge and cherry .
The blades are stainless
steel (Japanese, of course) with the 'granton edge' release pattern (scalloped) which not only helps release thin
slices and sticky food but also adds considerable style. Sets are available with handles of Wenge, Cherry, Curly Maple,
and Walnut. Custom orders are available in wood of your choice. Call or e-mail me for availability and choice.
